There are limited public moorings available. The Bay offers protection from South Easterlies, but in other winds swell can appear during overnight stays.
Blue Pearl Island is widely recognised as one of the best dive locations in the Whitsundays. For snorkelling the best areas are at the north and south ends of the bay.
Fishing is strictly prohibited at all times
